Meet Camille Spink
Camille was made to be in the water. Ever since she was little she has been drawn to the pool, no matter how many other sports she tried. She had no intention of competing at first, but once she got a taste of winning there was no holding her back.
Growing up in the sport, Camille got energy from racing others. She swam three times a week before finally becoming a part of a competitive year-round team at age 12. Two years later, she realized that she could be an amazing swimmer. At the young age of 14, Camille achieved her first Olympic Trials qualifying time in the 50 free. Two years after that, she went to compete at the trials, winning the 100 LCM Freestyle and getting 2nd in the 50 LCM Freestyle to advance to the second round of racing. That meet was a catalyst for the rest of her swimming career.
Camille continued to swim faster and faster, fueled off the excitement of racing and satisfaction of getting better. She competed at U.S. Nationals, competed for the U.S. internationally multiple times, and continued her swimming career at the school of her dreams.
Camille is proud of all she’s done but is no where near finished with her swimming career.
